Read the answer →What is AFFILIATE OS?
New here? Start with this: what the software is and what it contains.
AFFILIATE OS is a web app that runs in any browser from a single HTML file. It needs no internet, server, account or subscription. All data is stored in your own browser on your computer.
It contains eight tools: tracking system, lead manager, campaign manager, conversion tracker, network directory, finance tracker, profit analytics dashboard and training center.
What you get
Tracking Center
Tracking links, click records and conversion records with five Sub ID labels you define.
Lead CRM
A pipeline board where every interested person moves from first contact to closed sale.
Campaign Manager
One campaign connects one offer with one traffic source, so profit is measured on the exact thing you run.
Finance and Profit
Ad spend, expenses, refunds, chargebacks, revenue and the profit formula on one screen.
Analytics
Six report families: networks, brands, offers, campaigns, traffic sources and Sub IDs.
Training Center
A seven-module academy, twenty step-by-step guides, an interactive troubleshooting helper, a glossary and a FAQ, all inside the file.
Safety Tools
One-click backups, validated restore, CSV exports for spreadsheets and a system health scanner.
Before you start
You need very little. Check this list before you install.
A computer
Any desktop or laptop. Phones and tablets also work because the layout adapts to small screens.
A web browser
Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave or Safari.
No internet needed
After you download the file, everything works offline, including the full training center.
No account or server
No sign-up, no subscription, no monthly fees. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
A normal browser window
Do not use a private window. Your data is saved inside the browser and would be lost.
A safe backup folder
A folder outside the browser, for example Documents, for your weekly backup files.
About 15 minutes a day
The daily routine takes about ten minutes; the 30-day plan asks for 15 minutes or less.
Install in three steps
Opening the file is the setup. Nothing to configure, nothing to sign up.
| Step | Action | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Download the file | Save AFFILIATE_OS.html from your download page into a folder, for example Documents. |
| 2 | Double-click the file | It opens in your browser. No internet needed. |
| 3 | Start using it | A welcome screen appears. Click Add my first Brand and follow this guide. |
Set up your workspace
Configure these once, then tick each box as you go.
| Setting | Where to find it | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
| My Profile | System, then My Profile | Your name, email and company. |
| Base currency | Option Library, then Currencies | Add your own currency. It becomes the base currency for all reports. |
| Exchange rates | Currencies | Every record stores its currency and rate. Update the rates monthly. |
| Commission types | Option Library, then Commission Types | How an offer pays: flat amount or percentage. |
| Lead stages | Option Library, then Lead Stages | Three or four stages, for example New, Contacted, Negotiating, Won. Mark exactly one as the Won stage. |
| Sub ID labels (5) | Settings | Name them yourself, for example Campaign, Ad Set, Creative, Keyword, Placement. Preset them on your tracking links. |
| Attribution model | Tracking, then Attribution | Last Click, First Click or Linear. Compare them to see who gets credit for a multi-click sale. |
| Campaign budget | Workspace, then Campaigns | A small budget you are comfortable with. It is a plan, not a promise. |
| Backup | System, then Backup and Restore | Export Full Backup weekly. The page shows the date of your last backup. |
| System Health | System, then System Health | Run Full System Check monthly. Aim for SYSTEM HEALTHY. |
Setup checklist
Your first 30 minutes: the golden path
Six items, created in this order.
| Step | Create | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Brand | The company whose product you promote. |
| 2 | Affiliate Network | The platform that tracks referrals and pays your commission. Direct programs count too. |
| 3 | Offer | One product, linked to its brand and network, with your commission terms. |
| 4 | Traffic Source | Where visitors come from: your Facebook page, a blog or an ad platform. |
| 5 | Campaign | One offer promoted on one traffic source. The unit you measure profit on. |
| 6 | Tracking Link | The link you promote. Every click knows which campaign and source it came from. |
How tracking works
How tracking links, clicks, Sub IDs and attribution work together.
A tracking link wraps your affiliate address with its full identity: brand, network, offer, campaign, traffic source and up to five Sub ID labels. You define the meaning of the Sub IDs in Settings, for example Sub 1 for the month, Sub 2 for the creative, Sub 3 for the placement.
- Because the system runs offline, clicks are recorded rather than captured. Log your real clicks daily from your platform statistics (date, source, Sub IDs if you know them).
- Press Log Test Click on any tracking link to test the whole chain in seconds.
- Each click gets a unique Click ID that connects it to the lead and the sale it produces. This makes the attribution reports possible.
- Use Tracking, then Attribution to read the path of one sale and switch between First Click, Linear and Last Click.
Managing leads and follow-ups
Turn interested people into sales and keep follow-ups on time.
A lead is any person who showed interest but has not bought yet. Recording leads shows the quality of your traffic long before commissions arrive.
- Create each lead directly from its click, so the source is remembered automatically.
- Set a follow-up date. The Leads page warns you about follow-ups due within three days.
- Move leads through your own pipeline stages, for example New, Contacted, Negotiating and Won (CRM, then Lead Pipeline).
- Enter the lead value and log your contact in Notes.
- When a lead buys, click Convert to Sale. The full history of the lead transfers to the sale automatically.
Recording sales and costs
Record every sale and cost so every profit number is trustworthy.
A conversion is one recorded sale. It carries the network transaction ID, the commission, the currency, a status and the full attribution chain. Correct records make every profit number trustworthy.
- Always enter the Transaction ID from the network. The system uses it to detect duplicates.
- Enter the commission in the currency the network pays. The system converts it with your saved exchange rate.
- Keep new sales Pending until the network confirms them, then change the status to Approved.
- If a buyer returns the product, change the status to Refunded instead of deleting, so your refund rate stays visible.
- No transaction ID from the network? Create your own, such as network name plus date and amount. Consistency matters more than format.
Costs (Finance menu)
- Ad Spend: link every dollar to its campaign.
- Expenses: tools and subscriptions count too.
- Refunds and chargebacks are subtracted from profit.
Your daily, weekly and monthly routine
Here is the recommended operating schedule.
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| Daily (about 10 min) | Log new clicks, add new leads with follow-up dates, record new sales, record any ad spend, answer follow-up warnings. |
| Weekly | Export a full backup, review the Campaign Report, pause losing campaigns, move budget toward the best EPC, approve or reject pending conversions. |
| Monthly | Update exchange rates, review Brand and Network reports, read a new Academy lesson, check System Health. |
The three-minute ritual (starts Day 8, runs forever)
- Log. Open Clicks and Leads and log what happened today: clicks, new leads, sales.
- Look. Open the Dashboard: one screen, sixteen numbers, ten seconds.
- Decide. Pick ONE next action: follow up, pause, add budget, or nothing. Write it in Notes.
Read your numbers and reports
One formula, six metrics and six reports. The question you have decides the report you open.
| Metric | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Revenue | Approved plus pending commission. The gross money booked before costs. |
| Net Profit | What remains after ad spend, expenses, refunds and chargebacks. |
| ROI | Net profit divided by total cost, as a percentage. Above zero means profitable. |
| ROAS | Approved commission divided by ad spend. A ROAS of 3 means each unit of ads returned three units of commission. |
| EPC | Earnings per click: approved commission divided by clicks. |
| Conversion rate | Sales divided by clicks, as a percentage. |
One question, one report
| Your question | Report to open |
|---|---|
| Which network actually pays me? | Network Reports |
| Which brand deserves more effort? | Brand Reports |
| Which offer should I promote harder? | Offer Reports |
| Which campaigns make or lose money? | Campaign Reports |
| Where do traffic and commission come from? | Traffic Reports |
| Which creative, keyword or placement performs best? | Sub ID Reports |
Read the Campaign Report weekly and sort by profit, not commission. A campaign that earns a lot but spends more is a loss.
Backups and data safety
There is no cloud, so there is no automatic backup. Here is how to export your backups manually.
AFFILIATE OS saves data inside your own browser on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded and nobody else can see your numbers. If you clear your browser data, use a private window, or your computer fails, the workspace in that browser is gone.
- Open System, then Backup and Restore and click Export Full Backup once a week.
- Keep the downloaded backup file in a safe folder, outside the browser.
- To move to another computer, export on the old one and use Import Backup on the new one (restore is validated).
- The Backup page always shows the date of your last backup. CSV exports are also available for spreadsheets.
Fix problems fast
There are two built-in tools, and both work offline.
System Health
Scans the whole database for broken references, duplicate entries, invalid dates and money records, and offers one-click repairs. It is the tool professionals run before trusting any report.
Troubleshooting helper
Guided questions for problems such as missing clicks or wrong numbers. Each answer brings you closer to the fix.
Still stuck after both tools? Tell us your problem. We listen first.
The 30-day setup plan
Week 1: setup. Week 2: live operation. Week 3: reports. Week 4: optimization.
One step per day, 15 minutes or less. Tick each day when done; ticks are saved in this browser. If you miss a day, do the missed step next and continue. Each week ends with a review and a backup.
0 of 30 days doneFrequently asked questions
These are the questions we hear most about the product.
Do I need the internet to use AFFILIATE OS?
No. The file contains everything, including the full training center. It works completely offline.
Does it work on my phone or tablet?
Yes. The layout adapts to small screens. Each browser keeps its own data, so use backups to move between devices.
Is my data sent to anyone?
No. All data stays in your browser on your computer. There is no account and no server.
Why does it start empty?
You build your own business structure. Empty dropdowns mean you have not created that item yet, and every form has an Add button.
What if I clear my browser data by mistake?
Restore your latest backup with one click.
Can I use it for several businesses?
Yes. Keep one workspace with many brands, or one copy of the file per business.
How do I record a sale from a network without a transaction ID?
Create a simple ID yourself, for example the network name with the date and amount. Consistency matters more than the exact format.
Can my partner or team use it too?
Yes, on the same computer and browser, or by sharing a backup file. Simultaneous multi-user work would need a cloud system, which is outside the scope of an offline tool.
Does the software ever expire?
No. It is a permanent license for the version you purchased.
Where do I learn advanced techniques?
Open Help and Training, then the AFFILIATE OS Academy. There are seven modules from beginner to advanced.
